Help Local Communities

How can your business help?

Our workplace ambassadors or ‘food champions’ are positive role models for communities and schools, helping to promote sustainability measures, such as reducing food waste and recycling. This is in addition to the wellbeing benefits for those involved in developing and maintaining the food growing space. Read the project charter for more information and find out more about how this contributes to our Local Outcome Improvement Plan.

Sign up with your local community to become a local resilience champion.  You will be part of  group of people ready to respond, withstand and recover from adverse situations.  For example, supporting local people in the face of severe weather and flooding to minimise effects on health, wellbeing and reduce the costs of damage. Read the project charter for more information and find out more about how this contributes to our Local Outcome Improvement Plan.

Help communities to take pride in their local place, protecting and enhancing it for local people and future generations.  This could involve helping pick up litter, maintenance works or other environmental solutions. It just takes a bit of teamwork to create an environment we’re all proud to enjoy. Find out more about how this contributes to our Local Outcome Improvement Plan.
