Lead Contact (Volunteer Role)

The Community Empowerment Group is a multi-agency group within the structure of Community Planning Aberdeen. It aims to improve how partner organisations work together with communities to deliver the Local Outcome Improvement Plan and Locality Plans. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can volunteer their time and skills to be a Lead Contact. The Lead Contact administers the group and helps monitor progress against the work programme. You will need to commit to attending and administering monthly meetings. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to projects and events between meetings should you wish to.
 
This is a voluntary role which would be carried out as part of your day job and not a paid position. In return you will gain knowledge and experience of working with our community planning partners to improve how we work together to consult, engage and empower citizens of Aberdeen. You will also have access to training and development opportunities, such as using improvement methodology.
