Health and Social Care
The vision within our Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) is for Aberdeen to be “a city where everyone can thrive, regardless of background or circumstance”. At the heart of this is a commitment to tackling poverty and inequality, and supporting the city’s people to live healthy lives.
The Health and Social Care section of the LOIP sets out how we will work in partnership to improve access to services, reduce harm, and enhance community safety across the city. Strengthening community safety and social connections is central to this, helping to reduce health inequalities and support people to live healthier, more connected lives in Aberdeen. There is one ten year outcome and one system change.
