Children Families and Lifelong Learning
The vision within our Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) is for Aberdeen to be “a city where everyone can thrive, regardless of background or circumstance”. At the heart of this is a commitment to tackling poverty and inequality, and supporting the city’s people to live healthy lives.
The Children, Families and Lifelong Learning section of the LOIP details the actions we will take working in partnership with our communities to Co‑design and deliver a joined‑up system of safe, supportive spaces and approaches, targeted interventions and personalised progression pathways that identifies and supports young people at risk of harm, disengagement from education, substance use or child criminal exploitation.
