Place, Belonging and Opportunity
Roles and Responsibilities
Each Portfolio Board is responsible for overseeing delivery and impact of their system changes in the Local Outcome Improvement Plan 2026-36, setting clear expectations for the difference this will make for people and communities, and ensuring partners are contributing to agreed outcomes. They prioritise and phase work, focus on improving outcomes and reducing inequalities, and take action where impact varies across neighbourhoods. They also strengthen long-term prevention, monitor progress through the Unified Risk Register, and ensure their work aligns with statutory partnerships. The Place, Belonging and Opportunity Portfolio Board is responsible for overseeing the delivery of two of our Local Outcome Improvement Plan System Changes:
System Change 2: Inclusive Routes to Emerging and Growing Sectors.
System Change 4: A Community Led System for Sustainable Neighbourhoods.
