Communities and Housing
The vision within our Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) is for Aberdeen to be “a city where everyone can thrive, regardless of background or circumstance”. At the heart of this is a commitment to tackling poverty and inequality, and supporting the city’s people to live healthy lives.
Our ambition is for all communities to become equal community planning partners. We recognise the strong link between communities, housing and homelessness, and that safe, secure homes are fundamental to improving outcomes. We will build on our existing relationships to actively involve people and communities in shaping solutions that strengthen housing stability and wellbeing across Aberdeen. There is one ten year outcome and one system change.
