Aberdeen CLD Plan 2025–2030
The Aberdeen Community Learning and Development (CLD) Plan 2025–2030 sets out how local services, community groups, and partners will work together to help people learn new skills, build confidence, and take an active role in their communities. The plan focuses on reducing inequalities and supporting those who face the greatest barriers in life.
The plan aims to make Aberdeen a place where everyone can learn, grow, and feel connected. It highlights six key priorities:
-
- Adult Learning – accessible opportunities to gain skills for life and work
- Youth Work – helping young people feel confident, supported, and ready for the future
- Family Learning – supporting families to learn together
- Community Development – strengthening local groups and community action
- CLD Workforce Development – training and supporting staff and volunteers
- Working Together – improving collaboration across services
The plan was developed with input from community organisations, partners, and residents, ensuring it reflects the needs and aspirations of people across the city. Each year, progress will be reviewed so the plan continues to respond to changing needs.
