Community Justice Aberdeen
Work is underway nationally to introduce a new model for Community Justice in Scotland. The Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016 under-pins the new model. From 1st April 2017, Community Justice Authorities will cease to exist, and responsibility for local strategic planning and delivery of services will be transferred to ‘community justice partners’ locally, as identified in the Act. ‘Community Justice Scotland’, a national body corporate, will also be established.

Community Justice Drivers
Community Planning Aberdeen has incorporated priority community justice drivers in the Aberdeen City Local Outcome Improvement Plan 2016-26.
See Participation Statement for information on how community justice partners have engaged with local third sector bodies and community bodies in developing the Community Justice drivers.
