The group will lead and be responsible for actions which support delivery of the Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) and underpinning locality plans. It is responsible for ensuring progress against the primary and secondary drivers and improvement aims set for the Prosperous Economy section.
There are three Economy Stretch Outcomes in the LOIP, Aberdeen Prospers is responsible for Stretch Outcomes 2 and 3:
2. 400 unemployed Aberdeen City residents supported into Fair Work by 2026.
3. 500 Aberdeen City residents upskilled / reskilled to enable them to move into, within and between economic opportunities as they arise by 2026.
